New buffet management feature simplifies allergen compliance
We’re excited to announce the latest expansion of our buffet management software – New allergen management functionality, designed specifically for buffets, canapé menus, live stations and bowl-food events.
The new buffet management feature gives hospitality operators faster, more accurate control over allergen labelling, helping reduce manual admin while improving compliance and guest safety.
Historically, allergen labelling across buffet dishes and event catering has been a labour-intensive process, often reliant on manual checks and vulnerable to human error.
Using the software, teams can select dishes in just a few clicks and instantly print branded recipe cards complete with allergen icons and menu information.
The system works by storing accurate allergen data for supplier-based recipes, sub-recipes and menus, ensuring that information stays connected throughout the operation. If a supplier changes, the platform’s ‘Find and Replace’ functionality automatically updates the associated allergen and recipe data across printed materials.
The feature also supports multilingual operations, allowing operators to print buffet and menu cards in up to five languages using an AI-powered auto-translation tool.
